Covid-19 – now taking bookings from 13th July 2020

Good news – we are now able to accept bookings from 13th July 2020.

We are so looking forward to welcoming guests back  to Moel yr Iwrch.  It’s been so sad to see the cottages empty all these weeks, especially as the weather has been so amazing and Snowdonia has looked at it’s best.  Having spent the lockdown looking after the farm and the animals and trying to home school the kids (hats off to all teachers!), we are now working hard  to get the cottages ready to welcome guests again.

We are currently working to Government guidelines to ensure that our guests are kept safe during their stay with us. We can reassure you that your cottage will be spotlessly clean and sanitised prior to your arrival. The additional cleaning time required will mean that we will need to change our check-in/out times to allow enough time to complete the work to the standard required. Our new check-in time will be from 6pm and our check-out time will be 9am (we will, of course, contact you should we find that your cottage is ready before 6pm on your arrival day).
We have altered our cancellation policy to reflect the current situation. We are still taking a deposit to secure all bookings but we are offering guests who have to cancel the option of either rescheduling their stay, receiving a voucher for the amount paid, or, as a last resort, a refund. These options will hopefully give you the confidence to book your holiday in North Wales with us.

We have had to give our cottages a new ‘minimalist’ look in order to safeguard our guests. We have removed certain ‘non-essential’ items such as ornaments, books, board games, pens etc to reduce the number of touch points that are harder to deep clean before your stay. We hope you understand that this is based on advice we have received to protect you in these challenging times.
We’d like to thank everyone who has rescheduled their stays with us thus far. As a small, family run business, the financial impact of the Coronavirus pandemic has been challenging.  Our guests’ genuine warmth and readiness to support us means so much to us – Diolch o Galon.

We hope that you are all staying safe and well and are looking forward to the time when you can safely return to North Wales & Snowdonia where the warmest of Welsh welcomes awaits you.

We look forward to seeing you.
